'Environment Rights for Environment Wrongs: Advocating for Improved Environmental Governance in Asia Pacific': From 6-10 November 2005, FIELD participated in a three day meeting, "Environment Rights for Environment Wrongs: Advocating for Improved Environmental Governance in Asia Pacific", in Bangkok, Thailand. The objective of the meeting was to address key mechanisms and co-operative solutions for advancing much needed changes with respect to the region's environment at local, national and regional levels. The meeting was organised by the UNDP Regional Environmental Governance Programme for Asia and Pacific. Alice Palmer of FIELD worked with the participants to identify common lessons learned from case studies and pilot projects and to develop a framework for advocacy strategies.
