Concerted Action on Trade and Environment (CAT&E)

Members Conference of the Concerted Action on Trade and Environment (CAT&E): On 20-22 October 2005, FIELD attended a conference of the Concerted Action on Trade and Environment (CAT & E) project, in Paris, France. The objective of the conference was to clarify the possible threats posed by the WTO to sustainable development, as well as the opportunities it offers, by taking stock of the most recent findings of academics from various disciplines. Alice Palmer of FIELD chaired the session on Trade and Development: Taking Stock of Facts.

Members Meeting of the Concerted Action on Trade and Environment (CAT&E): On 25 May 2005, FIELD lawyers attended a members meeting of the Concerted Action on Trade and Environment (CAT&E), in Berlin, Germany. FIELD's trade programme is a partner in the CAT&E project, funded by the European Commission, and co-ordinated by the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
