REDD-plus project

At the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference REDD-plus is one of the topics high on the agenda. The possibility that REDD-plus actions could help address tropical deforestation and raise funds for developing countries, while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, has drawn much attention since 2005. But there are many pitfalls and political issues to be resolved.
