FIELD in Copenhagen

4 December 2009 – FIELD is disappointed at the lack of progress in the international climate change negotiations and the failure of developed countries to commit to ambitious emissions cuts. FIELD staff are working with small island states, least developed countries and other developing countries at the UN Copenhagen Climate Change Conference. This includes a European Capacity Building Initiative (www.eurocapacity.org) preparatory workshop for least developed countries before the conference and FIELD’s REDD-plus project. This project offers information and advice on a neutral, non partisan basis to interested developing countries.
