The Pacific delegation feels strong and united in the negotiations
of the UN Convention on Biological
Diversity. "2010 is very significant as it is the target year in which Parties have agreed to achieve a significant reduction in biodiversity loss. Parties to the CBD and other stakeholders will need to take stock of next steps and how to take effective action. I do believe that Parties understand this and that this COP has worked hard at setting the stage for making strides in implementing the CBD's objectives,"
says FIELD lawyer Linda Siegele.
