REDD links with wetlands

A new background paper entitled 'Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in developing countries (REDD) - the link with wetlands' is available in PDF format. The paper has been prepared for FIELD by consultant Dave Pritchard. It summarises the importance of wetlands in relation to climate change and examines their potential role in relation to REDD and various international conventions. FIELD would welcome comments at field@field.org.uk
