Advisory opinion on climate change damage

December 1, 2011 - FIELD held a round table discussion of legal experts to develop possible legal questions that could be submitted to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for an advisory opinion on climate change damages.

The summary report of this discussion suggests possible approaches and legal questions. FIELD welcomes any feedback and additional ideas field@field.org.uk.

In order to broaden the discussion and allow lawyers and other interested parties from other jurisdictions all over the world to contribute to the discussion, we will follow up the event with a public webinar in February 2012.
