South North Dialogue - Equity in the Greenhouse

SB-20 Side Event -South North Dialogue on Equity in the Greenhouse. On 21 June 2004, FIELD participated in a side event organised by the University of Cape Town and the Wuppertal Institute, which presented the results of a BMZ-funded South-North Dialogue on the structure and contents of an adequate and equitable global climate agreement. The resulting framework addresses both mitigation and adaptation, emphasises equity in future climate negotiations, and addresses differentiation among developing countries. M.J. Mace presented the study's findings on adaptation.

This workshop was the latest stage in an ongoing dialogue initiated by EDRC and the Wuppertal Institute.
